PRESS KIT

Four apps. Four jobs. One press kit.

ASN Services LLC ships four products on Google Play. A calculator for working pipefitters. A controller for parents whose kids find the workaround. A finance method that does not ask you to categorize receipts. A precalc app that shows the working, not just the answer. Pitches and visuals below.

Four apps live on Google Play. Built by ASN Services LLC. Hinesville, Georgia. Android only.

The Pipefitter Calculator

The pipe math you do twice on paper, done once on glass.

For working pipefitters and steamfitters who do the layout in the field.

The Moment

The foreman wants an offset by lunch. The pipe is hot, the gloves are on, the sun is bouncing off the screen of a calculator app that was built for an office. By the third re-entry of the rise number, the run has changed.

The Fix

Eight calculators tuned to what the job actually asks for. Each one draws the layout with your numbers labeled on it, so the apprentice can verify the same picture before any pipe gets cut.

Offline. Pinch to zoom on the diagram. High-contrast UI tuned for sunlight and safety glasses.

What is in the app

  • Simple Offset. Single-plane offset by a known distance. Eight standard fitting angles.
  • Rolling Offset. Two-plane math for offsets that also shift sideways.
  • Fitting Take-off. Center-to-end for elbows, with a note to verify against the actual fitting chart.
  • Mitered Turn. Segment cut math for fabricating your own elbow from straight pipe.
  • Branch Saddle, Thermal Expansion, Pipe and Water Weight, Reference Tables. Stub-in saddle depth, steam-run growth, hanger sizing, and a precision reference.
Why this one

Diagram first. Every calculator renders a labeled drawing of the layout with your numbers on it. A second set of eyes verifies the picture, not the math.

Parental Control · Device Pairing

Anchor

Screen time rules that hold under a smart fourteen year old.

For parents whose last controller was bypassed before bedtime.

The Moment

You set the rules on Sunday. By Tuesday the device is on at midnight. The kid found the bypass in a video comment. The first you hear about it is in a teacher email about late assignments.

The Fix

Pair the parent app on your phone to the child device. The schedule lives on the child device, gated by device admin, so it survives a force stop and a reinstall attempt.

You get a push the moment the child tries to remove the controller. The kid sees the schedule. You see what they tried.

What is in the app

  • Uninstall is gated. Removing the controller requires the parent pin. Attempts ping the parent phone within seconds.
  • App picker per window. School hours, bedtime, and weekends are separate schedules with their own allow lists.
  • Pin attempts and bypass tries are logged. You see what the kid tried, not just what they did.
  • Parent dashboard pairs multiple child devices. Edit schedules from your phone without touching theirs.
  • One-off exceptions without rewriting the schedule. Grant an hour, logged so you remember you did it.
Why this one

Built assuming the child is smart, not compliant. The controls are written to survive the workaround, not just block the obvious app.

Personal Finance · Method, Not Ledger

Protocol

Protocol is a method, not a ledger. Six stages. One number.

For adults done categorizing transactions in software they hate.

The Moment

You opened YNAB. You opened the spreadsheet. Each asks you to spend the rest of your life sorting receipts to find out whether you are on track. You are not asking what you spent. You are asking whether you can stop trading hours for dollars.

The Fix

Protocol is six stages from income to outcome, with one primary number. Freedom Coverage equals passive income divided by fixed costs. You tap through stages. You do not categorize lines.

Everything is on the device. Nothing leaves it. No account.

What is in the app

  • Six stages. Tap-based progression from income through outcome. The order is the method.
  • Freedom Coverage. Passive income over fixed costs is the headline metric, not a category report.
  • On-device only. No bank sync. No cloud. No account. No tracker pixel.
  • Haptic progression and countdown. The hand knows when a stage closes.
  • Milestone tracking against your own targets. Not a default budget. Your number, your line.
Why this one

You are moving through stages of a method, not maintaining a database of your own spending. The job ends when the stage closes, not when the receipts are sorted.

Precalc app icon
Education · Worked Steps

Precalc

Precalc that shows the path. Not just the answer.

For high school students working through precalc, and the parent looking over their shoulder.

The Moment

The kid stares at a function-composition problem. They do not know where to start. The homework app returns the answer in a box, and the kid copies it down without learning the move that gets there. The grade comes back the same.

The Fix

Eleven paid chapters, each with worked steps shown line by line. The student picks the problem, sees the reasoning, and hears the readout if they want to listen instead of read.

Runs native on Android. Fast on the budget device the kid actually carries.

What is in the app

  • Eleven chapters. From functions through the limits that set up calculus.
  • Worked steps shown. Line-by-line reasoning, not a single final number.
  • Voice readout. Each step can be heard, not only read.
  • Native Android. Performant on low-end hardware. Offline once installed.
  • One-time in-app purchase. Opens the paid chapters. No subscription, no recurring charge.
Why this one

Most homework apps return the answer. Precalc shows the move that gets there. The student learns to make the move themselves.
